Carl D’Rose

Carl first worked for Pacific in 2000 as a services engineer, before relocating to the USA for 6 years. Upon his return to New Zealand in 2008, Carl returned to Pacific as a Senior Building Services and Commissioning engineer, later becoming a director of the business in 2009. Since 1998 Carl has been involved in engineering and construction, both in New Zealand and overseas. He project managed several large building services focused projects in New York, and has been the lead commissioning manager on many large projects in New Zealand , including: the Deloitte Centre, 80 Queen Street,, the University of Auckland’s Science Centre B302, Middlemore Hospital’s clinical services building and the Geyser building, as well as several school construction projects for the Ministry of Education. He has also held the role of services co-ordinator and commissioning engineer for the WDHB Lakeview project, the ANZ building upgrade and 135 Albert Street.

Carl has the distinction of being the only NEBB certified professional in New Zealand, and has also completed the LEED and New Zealand Green Star accredited professional qualifications. He is widely respected in the industry by owners, facility managers, and contractors alike, and is known for his extensive technical knowledge, practical approach, fairness and integrity. While he has a thorough knowledge of all building services, his strengths lie in construction and commissioning of large mechanical plants and building control systems.
